RADICAL COMMONS

...is the first and only left-wing student magazine at the University of Michigan Law School.  RadCo's mission is to be a platform for students to publish art and writing that offers genuine left perspectives on law school and the legal system.

Pressures of professionalism, academic competition, imposter syndrome, and crushing debt are effective at silencing students who likely have powerful insights about their experiences related to the law. RadCo hopes to counter this by encouraging discussion that is informal, low-stress, and affirming. All students are welcome to participate regardless of their career path. However, one of our goals is to promote public interest work done by students and attorneys in fields like criminal defense, legal aid, civil rights, and movement lawyering.
